I’m back! Mindy and I just got home from a long weekend/short week (however you look at it) in New York. Had a really good time; met up with some friends, old and new, saw some sights, had good meals, etc. In short, it was a great trip. On top of that, I came back with a bunch of photos I’m really happy with. In fact, I’m so happy with some of them that I’m starting off with one of the so-so ones. It’s called pacing, people.

Anyway, I took this one because even here in Southern California, where Bentley’s, Ferraris, Lamborghinis and the like are a dime a dozen (ok, a couple dimes), something like this Rolls is still gonna get your attention. Stay classy, y’all.

This morning, I went to the Cars and Coffee car gathering for the first time. It’s a pretty amazing informal car show that takes place every Saturday morning in Irvine, California. It’s free and open to the public. The atmosphere is really laid back and casual. All levels of cars and price ranges are represented. From restored Volkswagen Beetles to ultra-rare and expensive supercars, pretty much anything collectible or show-worthy can show up on any given weekend.

I managed to get a couple of cool shots while I was there, though I expect I’ll be going back over the next couple of weekends just to see what else may show up and to get some more pics. For now, here is a gallery of images I’ve gotten so far. Enjoy.
