I took this photo while in San Francisco back in September of this year. I was in Union Square, mostly just people-watching and snapping some candid photos. While scanning the surrounding skyline, the accompanying scene caught my eye and I made a couple of photos. I think the resulting picture is great and I like the fact that the detail that makes the scene interesting isn’t necessarily obvious at first glance.

I made a point to keep the picture tasteful and hopefully respected the subject’s privacy, though anyone in that situation probably wasn’t too interested in privacy in the first place. In any event, it made for a great shot.
