Made it to Japan
We landed in Japan last night around 6:00pm. The trip itself was fine. The flights from Las Vegas to LA, and LA to Tokyo all went without a hitch and were actually pretty comfortable. Considering it was a 12-hour flight, Singapore Airlines made the entire time relatively pleasant; or at least as much as 12 hours in coach class can be.
When we got into the airport, about forty minutes outside of Tokyo, we found an Airport Limousine bus to take us directly from the airport to our hotel. Both of us were pretty tired and it was raining and dark already, so the trip into the city wasn’t filled with the awe-inspiring views that we had envisioned there would be. We didn’ tget to the hotel until almost 9:00pm after all was said and done. However, arrival and checkin at the hotel was quick, we both took a minute to take in the view from our window, and then went to bed.
This morning, we’ve gotten a better chance to view the city from our room on the 32nd floor of the Park Hotel Tokyo and it just seems to go on forever. We’ll be heading out to start exploring the Ginza area soon. We’re near major subway stations and it looks fairly easy to navigate using trains. I guess we’ll see once we go out and actually try it.
That’s it for now.

Hey you guys. It sounds like the flight was good. Obviously you got there safely. What’s it like? More importantly, what are you eating? Drinking any sake? (I hate sake.)… I’ll keep reading the blog to keep tabs on you. Have a great time!
